JJ Bauer (Stage Manager/Dramaturg)

JJ is delighted to work again with longtime friends at Redbird Theater Company. She has been a stage manager, props manager, costume designer, set designer, and utterly unwilling actor for various area theater companies, including Deep Dish Theater, Ghost and Spice Productions, NC State Theatrefest, The Open Door Theatre, Street Signs Center for Literature and Performance, and Wordshed Productions.​

David Berberian (Chris)

David Berberian has been a regular on Triangle stages for over 20 years. He has taken on projects as an actor, director, producer, designer, and set builder with several organizations, including The Juilliard School, The Vineyard Theater, The Minetta Lane Theater, Duke University, Manbites Dog Theater, The Heights Players, StreetSigns Center for Literature and Performance, Piedmont Performance Factory, Deep Dish Theater, Theater Delta, The Justice Theater Project, East Carolina Summer Theater and many more.​ David became a company member at Manbites Dog Theater in Durham beginning in 2001 and remained so until they closed in 2018. He travels the country with Theater Delta, using interactive theater for social change and fostering conversations in our ever-changing world. David serves as an Asst. Manager for Duke Venue and Production Management at Duke University.

Eric Coble (Playwright)

Eric Coble was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and raised on the Navajo and Ute reservations in New Mexico and Colorado. He is widely considered to be one of the tallest playwrights in America.  His Tony-nominated play THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN premiered on Broadway at the Booth Theatre directed by Molly Smith, starring Estelle Parsons and Stephen Spinella.  Other scripts include BRIGHT IDEAS, SOUTHERN RAPTURE, FAIRFIELD, A GIRL’S GUIDE TO COFFEE, MY BARKING DOG, and THE GIVER and have been produced Off-Broadway, in all fifty states of the U.S., and on several continents, including productions at Manhattan Class Company, The Kennedy Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville Humana Festival, Denver Center Theatre Company, Arena Stage, New York and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, Cleveland Play House, South Coast Repertory, New Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, Curious Theatre, Boise Contemporary Theatre, Southern Rep, Habima Theatre (Israel), Pentacion Productions (Spain), Teatr Polski (Poland), Orange Row (Mexico), and The Contemporary American Theatre Festival (USA).  Awards include the AATE Distinguished Play Award for Best Adaptation, an Emmy nomination, the Edgerton Award for New American Plays, the Chorpenning Playwriting Award for Body of Work, the AT&T Onstage Award, National Theatre Conference Playwriting Award, the Cleveland Arts Prize, two Cuyahoga Arts and Culture Fellowships, and four Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Grants.

Lenore Field (Alexandra)

Lenore has worked with many Triangle theater companies within the last three decades. She is happy to appear again with RedBird Theater Company. Other productions with RedBird have been A DOLL’S HOUSE PART 2 and GIRLFRIENDS' GUIDE TO THE WHITE HOUSE. She was last seen in Burning Coal Theatre Company’s production of MY FAIR LADY. Other favorite performance experiences include INTO THE WOODS, NICHOLAS NICKLEBY PART 1 & 2, and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC with PlayMakers Repertory Company; SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE and THE ROAD TO MECCA with Burning Coal Theatre Company; MARJORIE PRIME, AGE OF AROUSAL, and THE NEW ELECTRIC BALLROOM with Manbites Dog Theater; THE HERD and GRAND HORIZONS with Honest Pint Theatre. She is also a member of RedBird Theater Company’s advisory team.

Derrick Ivey (Scenic Designer)

Derrick is a co-Founder of RedBird Theater Company, and has directed THE PRICE, THE TREASURER, and THE WOOLGATHERER; designed sets for THE PRICE, THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE TREASURER, ART, A DOLL’S HOUSE PART 2, and NUMBERS ARE DOWN; and played Mark Rothko in RED, and Serge in ART for the company.   Other regional theater designs include THE SECET GARDEN, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Center Theater); TROUBLE IN MIND, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (Raleigh Little Theater); and WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME (PlayMakers Repertory Company).

Adam Traylor (Director)

Adam Traylor is delighted to return to RedBird Theater, where he previously directed REVOLUTION. A theater artist whose career has encompassed directing, acting, producing, production management, stage management, and theatre education, Adam has collaborated with professional, collegiate, and community theaters across the country. His work has ranged from new play development and world premieres to contemporary dramas, classic comedies, musicals, and experimental theatre.  Adam is drawn to stories that challenge audiences while remaining deeply rooted in character and authentic human connection. His directing credits include productions for Switch Theatre Company, Temple Theatre, California Theatre Center, North Carolina Wesleyan College, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Odyssey Stage, among others. His recent work has been recognized among the Triangle's outstanding theatre productions by both CVNC and Chatham Life & Style. Beyond directing, he has held leadership positions with organizations including Temple Theatre, the Alley Theatre, Dorset Theatre Festival, California Theatre Center, and the Santa Fe Opera, and has taught acting, directing, and theatre history at the collegiate level.  Adam is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate once again with the remarkable artists at RedBird Theater and hopes you enjoy THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN.
